Advertising ON THE NIAAA APP

Mobile advertising through Sideline Access and the NIAAA App is a powerful and effective method of reaching not only moms and dads, but the millennial demographic and the supportive community around the local high school and their sports program in a family friendly environment. Due to the audience we reach, Sideline Access and the NIAAA have developed a set of Family Friendly and Social Responsibly Guidelines when it comes to what can and will not be displayed on the NIAAA app (listed below).

This is NOT your typical ad buy, advertising revenue is shared three ways, directly to the schools to fund their sports programs and improve the high school experience, to the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) to improve their services and support of  interscholastic athletic programs across the country and to support the NIAAA Mobile App Service and future upgrades. Your business is displayed as a direct supporter of high school athletics and the NIAAA.

So whether your targeting the general public or you sell products and services to schools, we can design a digital and broadcasting advertising campaign to help you reach more people on the go and support local high schools in the process. What better form of advertising could you need?

Reach your audience

Consumers of all ages are attached to their mobile devices and spend an average of 2 hours and 17 minutes a day accessing content inside an app. This is how we stay connected with family, friends and colleagues. How we stay current with important events, news and the networks we interact with daily. It's how we stay connected to the world in the fast day-to-day pace we live. This is also how you can reach your customers more efficiently with direct calls to action to drive your business.

Mobile advertising will account for the vast majority of growth in the global ad market in the next four years, according to report release by eMarketer.

Family Friendly

Due to the target millennial and parent demographic, ad buyers will have to meet the following family-safe requirements to be approved for display. As a general rule of thumb, “When in doubt about whether an image or text might be considered as adult content, our rule is: would you want your child to see the content or if you would be embarrassed to view the ad in front of colleagues, then the ad is probably not family-safe and would not be allowed display on our ad network”. But we take this a set further by defining strict display guidelines to meet our Family Friendly Requirements.

Advertising Display Requirements

Sideline Access has established a Family Friendly Marketing Review Council (“FFMRC”). The primary roles and responsibilities of the FFMRC include the following:

  • Ads cannot undermine the role of the parent and family, or respect for community authorities.
  • Ads cannot display or depict content or situations of a sexual nature.
  • Ads cannot promote Firearms or display gun violence.
  • Ads cannot promote the sale or consumption of alcohol.
  • Ads cannot promote to use or sale of tobacco products.
  • Ads must ensure that all marketing messages are inclusive and respectful of ethic and religious affiliations.
